History

For over 17 years, we have been offering residential and commercial customers increasingly diverse choices in landscape products and services.

In 1988, Blythe Landscaping Services started serving the Charlotte Metro area as a landscaping company. A year later, it branched out into the lawn maintenance market. The company's name changed in 1995 from Blythe Landscape to Certified Grounds Management, Inc. Over the next few years, the company doubled in size and, with the addition of the irrigation and lighting division in 2001, Certified Grounds Management became a leading, full service landscaping company. Today, Certified Grounds Management provides services in landscaping, lawn maintenance, irrigation, hardscapes and lighting to both residential and commercial customers.
